European Heritage Days: Notte Bianca
For one night only, the whole of Valletta comes alive for Notte Bianca.
Taking place on Saturday 3 October 2026, Notte Bianca is a free cultural festival open to the public that transforms the capital into a lively celebration of art, music, and performance.
Throughout the evening, Valletta’s streets, squares, churches, state palaces, and museums transform into a stage for live performances, concerts, and cultural activities. Cafes and restaurants also extend their opening hours, adding to the atmosphere as the city stays alive well into the night.
Beginning at 18:00 and continuing until midnight, Notte Bianca offers something for everyone, whether you come for the performances, the atmosphere, or simply the chance to experience Valletta in a completely different way.
When and where?
Saturday 3rd October 2026 from 18:00 to midnight throughout Valletta!
Preserving Our Past to Build Our Future reminds us that our heritage is not static. By protecting it today, we ensure that future generations continue to be inspired, informed, and connected through the stories of the past. This event is being held as part of Malta’s European Heritage Days.
Together, let us celebrate and protect our heritage—not just as relics, but as guiding stories for our future.
