The SCH has published its 2024 Annual Report!

2024 has been an industrious year for the SCH. Key highlights include:
- 381 new archaeological discoveries, including 3 catacombs and 8 WWII air raid shelters
- Conservation treatments on 678 intact artefacts and 1,570 ceramic fragments
- The addition of 369 sites to the National Inventory
- The groundbreaking discovery of a Punic-Roman funerary complex in Birkirkara
- Restoration monitoring of Balluta Buildings, Addolorata Cemetery, and a former RAF Nissen Hut, among other major projects
- Signing of the Guardianship Deed for the Kappella ta’ San Mikiel is-SanÄ‹ir
- The discovery of a louterion fragment during underwater excavation in Marsaxlokk
