The Superintendence of Cultural Heritage is responsible for the establishment of policy, standards, and guidelines in relation to cultural heritage. It also has the role of regulating heritage management plans and advise the Government on heritage matters. The Superintendence is also consulted and gives advice in the formulation of policies by other entities on matters that are likely to affect cultural heritage.
