The Superintendence is thrilled to announce its participation in the inaugural Salt Fest, in collaboration with the Salina Nature Reserve and BirdLife Malta.

This exciting event will celebrate the grand opening of the Salina Salt Museum, for which the Superintendence of Cultural Heritage has collaborated with BirdLife Malta to showcase a unique collection of unprovenanced underwater artefacts. The Salina Salt Museum will welcome visitors with free admission throughout the Salt Fest, which promises fun activities for all ages. 

Join us at the Salina Nature Reserve and meet Superintendence of Cultural Heritage archaeologists who will be offering hands-on activities which highlight the importance of our shared cultural heritage!
