Theme
The theme for European Heritage Days 2024 was Heritage of Routes, Networks and Connections.
Several entities across Malta oranised events, heritage trails, showcases and more for this year’s event. Events held this year included the Notte Biance – one of Malta’s largest outdoor cultural event – which celebrated the routes, connections and networks of the Baroque city, both as a historical landmak and as a living city. Ġenna Ġonna also partnered with EHD and organised a walk through Floriana’s many gardens and streets. Other NGOs, such as SKALI Gudja and Bird Life Malta also participated by organising heritage trails or public talks.
